ImageNext to the famous St. Petersburg Hermitage invites a nice and cozy park St. Petersburg inhabitants and visitors to stroll along the river Neva with its unforgettable view across the river to Peter and Paul fortress.


While strolling along the river banks visitors and St. Petersburg people might have the desire for a rest to enjoy the view and beauty of the city.

Inspired by the president of Rotary International Club St. Petersburg and after agreement of the members of Rotary Club St. Petersburg International Club President Mrs. Gabriele Koetschau approached the administration of St. Petersburg offering to donor four benches to the city of St. Petersburg.

ImageAfter having chosen Razvodnoj Sad, next to the Hermitage with its nice view across the river Neva, the benches were established and officially handed over to the city within the course of St. Petersburg´s anniversary - May 27th - activities. Rotarians from all over Russia and from neighboring countries used the opportunity to visit the Rotary-benches, in the presence of RID-elect Lin Hsiu Ming, Rotary district governor Andrei Ibragimov and governor elect Stephan Stein.



Mid of May 2015 4 benches where set up in the defined area together with the voluntary help of St. Petersburg district workers.

Within the course of the city's anniversary activities the benches  were officially handed over to the  city in the presence of the Rotary district governor Mr. A. Ibragimov and governor elect Mr. S. Stein by our president Mrs. Dr. Gabriele Koetschau.
